Tito Quinonez is a 2020 MIF/P from Lehigh Acres, FL who attends Lehigh Senior High School and plays travel ball for SWFL, a top travel ball organization who plays in many notable national tournaments throughout the year. At 5'8", 155, Tito is very athletic and has the ability to play multiple positions with 7.2 60 speed. Currently, he primarily plays MIF, but can transition to other positions as well. Tito is solid defensively showing soft hands, a nice glove-hand transition, and an accurate arm with a 79-80 IF velo.
At the plate, Tito approaches the ball in a slight crouch and consistently shows the ability to use all parts of the field being quick enough to turn on inside fastballs. He is a gap to gap hitter who has a solid approach every at bat.
On the mound, Tito lives 78-79 occasionally touching 80. He lives in the zone and pitches to contact. With more specific training Tito has the ability to add velo.
