Sam Krassan is a 2021 OF/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Pine Crest H.S. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.8 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows athletic actions to the ball, short steps coming in and stays low to and through release, gets on top of the ball from a higher release point, ball comes out clean and repeats well, nice carry and accuracy to intended base, projects for additional arm strength with continued incorporation of lower half. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a loose, high hand set and a high back elbow at the plate, wide base in the box - open stance. Stays short to the ball with hands and shows an easy swing with bat speed through the zone. Line drive swing plane and generates extension out front, ball comes of the barrel well to all fields. Looks to work the middle of field with approach and can generate back spin with carry off the barrel. Swing replicates that of Yoenis Cespedes. Excellent Student.
