Nicholas Del Prado is a 2020 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Florida Christian HS. Big and strong athletic build with strength throughout. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a limited shift, rotational upper body swing, swing is smooth and extended and he creates some jump when squared up, has strength he isn't using in his lower half to generate bat speed, tools to improve with adjustments. Shows good infield arm strength from an over the top release point. Arm strength translated well to the mound from a lower mid-3/4's arm slot, fluid and loose arm action, uses his lower body very well on the mound, can improve direction to his release better. Fastball tops out at 88 mph with lots of life, gets nice cutting action glove side. Rare curveball showed some good 11/5 shape and spin. Good student.
