How Do I Know If I Am Getting Recruited?
Being recruited is a process which is very time consuming and can be frustrating at times for prospects. It is important to understand that being recruited does not happen overnight. College programs who recruit you normally want to see you at least five times before they have the information necessary to confidently make an offer to you. This can include evaluating video of you, seeing you at a prospect camp, and evaluating you at games.
If you are being recruited by a college program you will know it. I tell my prospects there is one surefire way to know if you are being recruited: If you are personally talking to a college coach then you are being recruited by that program. Receiving emails to upcoming camps, filling out questionnaires, etc., are possible indicators a college may be interested in you, but if you are personally talking to a college coach then you are being recruited.
